The growth of the Average Net Circulation of the Digital Replica Edition of the print newspapers (exact replica of a print newspaper in digital form) grew by 49.40% during the current audit period (1st July 2016 to 31st December 2016) compared to that of the last audit period (1st January 2016 to 30th June 2016). It was 697,513 copies per publishing day vs. 466,870 copies per publishing day. This momentum is very encouraging to the industry in line with the internet penetration growth in Malaysia.
Print newspapers, though net circulation / distribution dropped by 6% during the current audit period, had a net average circulation / distribution per publishing day of more than 3.0 Million copies.
